MATCHUP QUICKFACTS
Colorado State will host Wyoming in the 211th "Border War" on Wednesday, fresh off a 71-66 win at Air Force on Saturday. The win gave CSU its fourth conference win of the season. The four victories tie for the Rams' second-most MWC wins in a season in the last six years.
In 2007-08, the Rams won seven MWC games. Senior guard Marcus Walker has averaged 19.8 points per game in his last five outings. He has scored at least 18 points in all five games, including three games of 20 or more points. His 99 points in the last five games are his most in a five-game stretch since he scored 110 points in five games from Jan. 26-Feb. 9, 2008. He now ranks fifth in the conference in scoring at 16.1 points per game.
The Rams are 3-3 at home in conference play and with a win on Wednesday would guarantee at least a .500 (4-4) finish at home in MWC action. Four home conference wins would tie for the most in one season since the 2000-01 season, when CSU picked up five home conference wins.
On Wednesday, the CSU athletic department is sponsoring a "Hostile Student Takeover" with several promotions including a free "Border War" T-shirt to the first 500 students and dollar hot dogs for all students in attendance.
Saturday's game against New Mexico (7 p.m. MST) will mark the home season finale for the Rams. The showdown with the Lobos will be senior night as the Rams will recognize seniors Marcus Walker and Willis Gardner.
ABOUT WYOMING

Senior guard Brandon Ewing leads the MWC in scoring (18.5) and assists (5.0) and is on the verge of becoming the first player in league history to finish the season ranked first in both categories. In addition, Afam Muojeke (14.3), Sean Ogirri (14.3) and Tyson Johnson (14.2) all average over 14 points per game. Defensively, the Cowboys give up a league-low 75.3 points per game on .431 shooting.
