Cornell released from scholarship obligation

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Head women's basketball coach Kristen Holt announced Wednesday that Juanise Cornell will not be returning to the team for her senior year.

"This is my decision as the head coach and is based on what I feel is in the best interests of the program," said Holt, who indicated she would not comment further on the matter.

Cornell has been granted a release to transfer. She will also be allowed to remain at CSU on scholarship in order to complete her graduation requirements should she so desire.
