CSU track member competing for his country

FORT COLLINS, Colo.- Colorado State track and field athlete Nigel Joseph has been named to&nbsp; represent his native country, Canada, in the Francophone Games, to be held Sept. 27-Oct. 6 in Beirut, Lebanon.

Joseph, who hails from Calgary, Alberta, will compete in the 400-meter hurdles, an event in which he competes for CSU.

As a freshman in 2008, Joseph scored in all three of his events at the Mountain West Conference outdoor championships in May. He posted a third-place finish (14.70 seconds) in the 110-meter hurdles, a third-place finish (52.28) in the 400-meter hurdles, and a sixth-place finish (13.49 meters) in the triple jump.
