LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the third consecutive week Colorado State volleyball improved one spot in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches top 25 poll released Monday afternoon.

The Rams have steadily moved up the polls during their current eight-match win streak and enter play this week as the No. 15-ranked team in the nation.

Colorado State (17-2, 7-0 MWC), extended its win streak last week with a pair of home victories over the TCU Horned Frogs and the New Mexico Lobos, putting some distance between themselves and the rest of the pack in the Mountain West Conference championship race.

Senior OH Danielle Minch returned from injury to record a season-high 20 kills to lead the Rams to a five set victory – 25-22, 26-24, 20-25, 20-25, 15-12 - over TCU on Thursday night.  She followed up that performance by tying for team-high honors with 10 kills in the Rams three-set sweep – 25-16, 25-21, 25-19 – of the Lobos on Saturday.

Colorado State closes a four-match homestand this week, facing in-state foe Denver on Wednesday before taking on “Border War” rival Wyoming on Friday at Moby Arena.

Wednesday’s match vs. DU marks CSU’s final non-conference match of the regular season.  The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.  The Rams will be wearing special pink uniforms and the match has been designated CSU’s annual “Dig Pink” event to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

Friday’s contest vs. Wyoming has been designated an “Orange Out” and will also feature new uniforms for the Rams, who will pay tribute to Colorado State’s heritage as the Colorado A&M Aggies by wearing the school’s former colors of pumpkin (orange) and alfalfa (green).
