FORT COLLINS, Colo. - On top of Saturday's contest against UNLV being one of the most important games in Moby Arena history, seniors Adam Nigon, Andy Ogide, Travis Franklin, and Andre McFarland will be honored during annual Senior Night presentations.
Tipoff is earlier than normal at 5 p.m. MT.
Senior Night was initially planned to occur during the season's last home game on March 2. To make travelling more convenient for the families of seniors attending Senior Night, CSU (17-7, 7-3 MWC) decided to move the game to the last weekend home game, Saturday's game against the UNLV Rebels (18-7, 6-5 MWC).
Saturday also marks the return to Moby Arena of SpongeBob Squarepants, who will be available to pose for pictures with fans in the concourse from 4:15 p.m. MT until halftime at approximately 6 p.m.
Fans are invited to show their pride for CSU by wearing green and gold body paint. The fan deemed most creative with their body paint will win a $25 Raising Cane's gift card.
Students are encouraged to pick up their free tickets early at the McGraw Athletic Center box office, located just west of Moby Arena. Tickets available for the general public are $15 for adults and $8 for kids. Tickets can be purchased at the McGraw ticket office, at csurams.com, or by calling 1-800/491-RAMS.
The game is slated to be of huge importance for both teams, as CSU and UNLV are both fighting for at-large bids in the NCAA tournament. UNLV is ranked 30th in the RPI rankings, and CSU is 38th, according to RPIratings.com. A win over the Rebels would give the Rams a sweep of UNLV this season, which could prove vital in CSU's hopes for its first NCAA tournament berth since 2003.
