COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced its men's and women's outdoor track & field all-conference teams Monday. All-MW selections were awarded to the top three finishers in each event at last week’s conference championships held at Jack Christiansen Track on the CSU campus.
In a tight race Friday, CSU junior Spenser Lynass edged BYU’s Reagan Frey by less than 1 second to win the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9 minutes, 6.03 seconds.
Freshman Trevor Brown and sophomore Kelby Dias took second and third in the 110-meter hurdles Saturday, with respective times of 14.27 and 14.32. Both times were personal season highs, and the two best times by a Ram this season.

Freshman Seth Monson took home his first all-conference honor after placing second in the 400 meters on Saturday with a time of 47.18 seconds. His time was a season best for the Rams.
Also posting a season high for Colorado State was senior Tyson Williams. He threw the shot put 59-10.25 Saturday, finishing in second place.
The team of Brian Fox, Nigel Joseph, Josh Murphy and Raymond Carter crossed the finish line in 41.26 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay Saturday for third place in the standings.
