FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Colorado State men’s basketball Head Coach Tim Miles announced Thursday the hiring of Gregory Eaton as the Rams’ video coordinator, completing his staff for the 2011-12 season.

“Greg is an excellent addition for CSU,” said Miles. “He has experience, expertise and a tremendous work ethic!”

Eaton, a native of Rehoboth, Mass., joins the Rams staff after serving as a graduate assistant and the assistant video coordinator for the University of Arkansas men’s basketball program during the 2010-11 season.  He is currently pursuing a Master of science degree in sport administration.

Prior to his stint with the Razorbacks, Eaton worked as an assistant video coordinator and student manager for the Louisville men’s basketball program from 2006-10, while earning his bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration from the university.  While at Louisville, the Cardinals captured a Big East championship and the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament in 2009.

In addition to his work as an undergrad with the Cardinals, Eaton served as an intern with the Pawtucket Red Sox in 2008 and 2009.  He was also a camp counselor at Northern Kentucky University in 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011, working with the Norse’s men’s and women’s basketball programs.

Eaton replaces Jayden Olson, who was promoted to the post of director of men’s basketball operations this summer after serving as the Rams’ video coordinator during the 2010-11 season.
