FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Rams need the support of their starving college students when CSU hosts No. 13/12-ranked San Diego State in a white-out men’s basketball battle Saturday afternoon at Moby Arena.

To thank them for that support, the first 2,500 students to take their ticket stub to the designated Moby Arena concession stand Saturday will get a free slice of Pizza Hut pizza. The stand is located on the north concourse, near the student entrance.

Students can get those tickets, free to any current CSU student with a valid ID, at the student entrance on the north concourse, beginning one hour before the game, at 1 p.m. MST. Tipoff against the 18-2 Aztecs is slated for 2 p.m.

McElwain to speak at halftime
Those in attendance Saturday are encouraged to stay in their seats following the halftime buzzer because new Athletic Director Jack Graham will introduce Head Coach Jim McElwain, who will address the crowd. Graham hired McElwain to head the CSU football program Dec. 13, three weeks before the coach led Alabama to its second national championship in his four years as Crimson Tide offensive coordinator.

Final 5 packages available
CSU is offering an outstanding five-game ticket package that covers the remainder of the Rams’ home slate, which pits the 13-6 Rams against opponents that include 18-2 San Diego State and 19-3 UNLV, both ranked in the top 12 of the latest national polls.

Fans get the five-game package for just $40. Final 5 seats are reserved in Section B, H and L. The $40 price does not include a $7 will-call fee per order.  There are no fees for in-person purchases.

Fans can purchase the Final 5 package in person at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday), over the phone at 800/491-RAMS, or online at CSURams.com by using the promo code: FINAL5.

White out
Fans coming to Saturday’s tilt should wear white as CSU has designated the contest its annual white-out game. Game sponsor Bank of Colorado is providing free white T-shirts to the first 1,000 fans in the door.

San Diego State tickets moving quickly
Fewer than 3,000 general-public tickets remain to Saturday’s game, as of Thursday afternoon. Fans can purchase tickets during normal business hours over the phone at 1-800/491-RAMS or in person at the McGraw Center ticket office, online at CSURams.com, or at any King Soopers or City Market location in Colorado.

The Rams are 9-1 at Moby Arena this season.
