FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State track and field program announced the addition of Ashley Reid to its fall roster Thursday.

Reid, a junior transfer student from Johnson County Community College in Olathe, Kan., will join the Rams in the jumping events.

"Ashley is a well-rounded athlete and a talented competitor," commented assistant coach Tim Cawley, who will work directly with Reid. "With her personality and drive she will be a fantastic addition to the Rams."

A multiple NJCAA All-American, Reid's best marks are among the top heights and distances of the current Rams' jumpers. Her high jump best of 5 feet, 8.75 inches would fall into the top five all-time best jumps in the CSU record books.

At the 2012 NJCAA Division-I Indoor Track and Field Championships she placed second in the both the high jump and triple jump and finished 12th in the long jump. She followed that up with a stellar performance at the outdoor championships with four top 10 finishes, including a seventh place time in the 4x100-meter relay.
