- Colorado State’s starters were different from the season opener. Hilbert went with: Acacia Andrews, Adrianna Culbert, Cassidy Denny, Deedra Foss, Jasmine Hanna, Kelsey Snider and Jaime Colaizzi.
- Aug. 30 has been kind to CSU. The Rams are now 14-0 all-time at Moby Arena when playing on Aug. 30.
- Dating back to 2012, CSU has now won 13-straight regular-season non-conference matches. The last time the Rams lost to a non-conference opponent during the regular season was to No. 2 UCLA in five sets (9/15/12).
- Saturday marked the fourth-consecutive year that the Rams have swept each of their first two matches of the season.
- Senior middle blocker Kelsey Snider had one of the most efficient matches of her career. The senior tallied 13 kills on 18 attacks while not committing a single attacking error.
- Snider's .722 hitting mark (13-0-18) fell just shy of her career high of .762 (16-0-21), which was set vs. Cal State Northridge (12/5/13), and stands as the best single-match performance in CSU history for five-set matches.
- Over her past three games, dating back to the final match of the 2013, season, Snider is hitting at a .627 clip (36-3-51).
- Saturday marked the first career start for true freshman Jasmine Hanna. Hanna registered six kills and three blocks in her first start.
- Fellow true freshman Alexandra Poletto registered her first career kills in Saturday's win. Poletto finished with three kills and four blocks.
- Junior libero Jaime Colaizzi tallied 15 digs, marking her 30th-career double-digt dig match.
- At the net, the Rams were equally effective in stifling the Gauchos’ attack. As a team, CSU registered 13.0 blocks (4.33 per set). Last year, CSU ranked No. 13 nationally averaging 2.84 blocks per set.
- Led by Snider with five, seven different Rams (Andrews, Culbert, Foss, Hanna, Poletto, Marlee Reynolds and Snider each tallied multiple blocks.
- Sophomore middle blocker Acacia Andrews registered four kills on seven attacks with zero attack errors. CSU's three middle blockers (Andrews, Poletto and Snider) combined for 20 kills on .613 hitting (20-1-31).
- Dating back to last year, eight of CSU’s last nine home wins have resulted in sweeps. The only match that didn’t end in three sets resulted in a four-set victory for CSU over New Mexico.
- Since 2011, the Rams are 42-3 at Moby Arena. Only Texas, Florida State and Penn State have better home records during that span.
- The Rams extended their program-best streak of consecutive matches without being swept to 83, a streak that dates back to Sept. 2, 2011.
- Sunday’s match between Colorado State and Marquette will be the championship of the Rams Volleyball Classic. Both teams went 2-0 on Saturday, defeating UC Santa Barbara and VCU in straight sets.
- All-time under Head Coach Tom Hilbert, CSU is 71-13 in regular-season home tournaments, winning the last six championships.
