- Tonight's captains were Sam Carlson, SteveO Michel, Mason Myers and Kevin Pierre-Louis.
- Senior quarterback Garrett Grayson threw for 434 yards, making tonight his seventh game with more than 300 passing yards. This ties Scooter Molander for second-most in a career. Terry Nugent holds the CSU record with eight games of at least 300 passing yards.
- Grayson's 434 passing yards ties for the second-most in CSU single-game history with Terry Nugent. Nugent passed for 434 yards on Oct. 29, 1983 vs. New Mexico.
- The native of Vancouver, Wash., set a career-high with 58 pass attempts, which also ties for the most in single-game CSU history with Terry Nugent (Nov. 6, 1982 vs. UNLV)
- Grayson's three touchdown passes gives him 36 in his career, tied for the seventh-most all-time by a CSU quarterback. Grayson is tied with Justin Holland and Kelly Stouffer.
- Grayson compiled 428 yards of total offense (434 passing, -6 rushing), this is the second-most total offensive yards in a single game by a CSU player. Grayson holds the single-game record with 445 yards of total offense at home last year vs. Boise State.
- Sophomore wide receiver Rashard Higgins steps up his play when it comes to facing Boise State. On Saturday, Higgins registered a career-best 11 receptions for 143 yards. The 143 yards are the second-most of his career. The native of Mesquite, Texas, has recorded 21 receptions for 242 yards in two games.
- Junior wide receiver Joe Hansley hauled in a career-long 55-yard reception, a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
- Hansley finished the game with seven catches for a career-high 149 yards. His previous high was 102 receiving yards against New Mexico on Nov. 24, 2012.
- Tight end Steven Walker registered his first career touchdown late in the first quarter. The 24-yard scoring reception was also the longest catch of his career.
- Senior wide receiver Charles Lovett now has a catch in 23 consecutive games that he has played in. He hauled in a five-yard reception in the second quarter. Lovett's last game without a catch was on Nov. 19, 2011 at TCU.
- Senior kicker Jared Roberts, a candidate for the Lou Groza Award, extended his school record of consecutive PATs made to 71.
- Trent Matthews registered his sixth career interception, stopping a Boise State drive on the seven-yard line. This interception was Colorado State's first takeaway of the season.
- Redshirt junior linebacker Cory James recorded his first sack of the season, giving him 16.5 in his career. James only needs to record a half sack to enter CSU's top-10 career list.
- Redshirt-sophomore linebacker Bryan Ohene-Gyeni registered his first career sack late in the third quarter. His sack eventually led to a Boise State punt.
- Rams recorded 23 rushing attempts on Saturday night, the fewest in Head Coach Jim McElwain's three seasons at CSU. The previous low was 24 at San Jose State on Sept. 15, 2012.
- The Rams lost the toss and Boise State deferred to the second half. The Rams are now 7-12 under Head Coach Jim McElwain when losing the coin toss. This is the second time this season CSU has lost the coin toss.
- Tight end Jordan White made his collegiate debut late in the first quarter.
