Opening tip
• Colorado State (20-4, 7-4 MW), remains home in Fort Collins to host the New Mexico Lobos (14-9, 6-5 MW) in a nationally televised contest Tuesday night.
• Tipoff between the Rams and Lobos is set for 9 p.m. MT at Moby Arena.
• The game will air across the Colorado State Radio Network, including flagship 105.5 FM ESPN, with Gary Miller (play-by-play) and Brian Roth (analyst) on the call.
• The contest will also be televised nationally on ESPNU with Steve Quis (play-by-play) and Craig Robinson (analyst) calling the action courtside.

Rams quick hits
• The 2014-15 season marks the 112th in the history of the Colorado State men's basketball program. The Rams are 1,191-1,199 (.498) in 2,390 games.
• CSU enters the 2014-15 men's basketball season under the direction of coaching veteran Larry Eustachy who begins his third season at the helm of the Rams' program and his 24th as a Division I head coach.
• Colorado State basketball is looking for its fifth postseason appearance in six years, and its third NCAA Tournament berth in four seasons, in 2014-15.
• Colorado State returns a majority of its production from a season ago including 66 percent of its scoring and 70 percent of its rebounding.
• Overall, the Rams' roster breaks down to six returning players, including starters Daniel Bejarano, J.J. Avila and Joe De Ciman, plus nine newcomers. However, three of the nine newcomers - senior Stanton Kidd, junior Tiel Daniels and sophomore John Gillon - practiced with the squad last season while redshirting as transfers from NCAA Division I programs.
• CSU's 2014-15 schedule is rated among the toughest in the Mountain West. Based on last season's final RPI rankings for Division I opponents.
• Through games played Feb. 7, the Rams are 27th in the NCAA RPI, second among MW members (26th, SDSU).
• The Rams' 20-4 record is tied for the best through 24 games in program history. CSU's best 25-game mark stands at 21-4.
• CSU's 14 consecutive wins to open the 2014-15 season, ranked as the longest win streak in program history, surpassing an 11-game stretch during the 1988-89 season.
• Prior to CSU's first loss of the year, Jan. 3 at New Mexico, the Rams were one of four remaining unbeatens nationally with Kentucky, Duke and Virginia.
• CSU features a balanced scoring attack, with the Rams posting 13 games this season with at least four players in double-figures scoring, including six games with five players notching 10+ points.
• Entering the week, there are 12 players in the Mountain West ranked in the top-20 in the league in both scoring and rebounding. CSU is the only program to boast three such players in senior forwards J.J. Avila and Stanton Kidd, and senior guard Daniel Bejarano.
• At 20-4, Colorado State ranks in the 14th nationally with a win percentage of 83.3 percent.
 
About New Mexico
• New Mexico, picked to finish third in the MW preseason poll, enters Saturday's matchup against Colorado State in a tie for sixth place in the league standings with a 6-5 mark.
• The Lobos are 14-9 overall, going 9-3 at home, 4-4 on the road, and 1-2 at neutral sites.
• UNM enters Tuesday's matchup having lost two straight to begin the month of February with a setback at Air Force (53-49) and a home loss to Utah State (63-60).
• The Lobos entered the season returning return six lettermen, including two starters, from the team that posted a 27-7 record last year, finished second in the MW with a 15-3 record, and won the conference tournament before losing to Stanford (58-53) in the second round of the NCAA tournament. 
• New Mexico is led by a pair of senior guards in Deshawn Delaney (12.3 ppg), and Hugh Greenwood (11.7 ppg). Sophomore guard Cullen Neal, who averaged 17 points through the first three games, however, has been out since November with an ankle injury.
• The duo of Delaney (5.5 rpg) and Greenwood (5.3 rpg) also rank 1-2 on the team in rebounding.
• As a team, the Lobos rank seventh in the Mountain West with a scoring average of 63.1 points per game (275th nationally) while ranking third in the league in scoring defense at 58.2 points per game (17th nationally).

Series vs. New Mexico
• Tuesday's matchup between Colorado State and New Mexico marks the 118th between the Rams and the Lobos.
• Colorado State is 43-74 in the all-time series (31-23 home, 12-48 away, 0-3 neutral), having lost five straight overall, including two consecutive home games in the series.
• The first matchup in the series - a 53-39 CSU win - was played Dec. 20, 1940 in Fort Collins.
• CSU's last home win in the series came Feb. 21, 2012 when forward Pierce Hornung posted a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds to lead CSU past the then-No. 18/21 ranked Lobos, 71-63.  
• Since the formation of the Mountain West in 1999-2000, the Rams are 5-28 vs. UNM, with a 1-15 mark in games played in Albuquerque, a 4-11 mark in Fort Collins, and an 0-2 mark on a neutral floor.

Eustachy vs. New Mexico
• Rams head coach Larry Eustachy is 0-6 against New Mexico in his 24-year career as a Division I head coach.
• Each of Eustachy's six losses to New Mexico have come by single-digit margins, including a pair of two-point losses.
• Eustachy first faced the Lobos on Dec. 6, 2008 during his tenure at Southern Miss, falling 60-58 on the road.
• As the head coach at Colorado State, Eustachy is 0-5 vs. UNM.
• Eustachy is 0-4 on the road, and 0-2 at home vs. UNM.

20-win seasons
• Colorado State's 83-82 win over UNLV on Feb. 7 marked the Rams' 20th victory of the season.
• It marks the CSU program's ninth 20-win season, and the second in three years under head coach Larry Eustachy.
• Eustachy joins Boyd "Tiny" Grant and Stew Morrill as the only coaches in CSU's history to lead the Rams to multiple 20-win campaigns.
• In the Rams' eight previous 20-win campaigns, the squad has advanced to the NCAA tournament six times, added one NIT berth, and missed the postseason one time.
• The Rams have never missed out on an NCAA Tournament berth in a year in which the team has recorded at least 21 victories (five times).

A win over New Mexico will...
• Give head coach Larry Eustachy his 63rd win in his third season at CSU and the 465th of his 24-year career.
• Move the Rams to 21-4, matching the best record in program history through 25 games.
• Mark CSU's sixth 21-win campaign in school history, all of which have resulted in an NCAA tournament berth.
• Improve CSU's record against New Mexico to 44-74 overall, and give the Rams a 6-28 mark against the Lobos since the formation of the MW in 1999-2000.
• Give head coach Larry Eustachy his first victory over New Mexico, after losing his first six games vs. the Lobos.
• Push the Rams to 10-8 under Eustachy in February games.
• Give the Rams a 43-8 (.843) record under Larry Eustachy in games played at Moby Arena. 

Avila stands alone
• Entering Tuesday's game at New Mexico, Colorado State senior forward J.J. Avila is the only player in the Mountain West to rank in the top 10 in the league in scoring, rebounding, field-goal percentage, assists per game and steals per game.
• Avila ranks fifth in the league in scoring (15.6 ppg), third in rebounding (7.9 rpg), sixth in field-goal percentage (.542), sixth in assists per game (3.1) and second in steals (2.0 spg).

Moby Arena homecourt advantage
• CSU enters Tuesday's home game vs. New Mexico with a 509-206 (.712) record all-time at Moby Arena.
• The Rams are 42-8 (.840) under Larry Eustachy in games played at Moby Arena.
• At 12-1 this season at Moby, it marks the 18th time in program history that CSU has won at least 12 home games.
• The Rams have won four consecutive home games since a 60-54 loss to Wyoming on Jan. 7.

Closing in on 1,000
• Colorado State senior duo of Daniel Bejarano and J.J. Avila are both on pace to finish their CSU careers with more than 1,000 career points.
• Currently, only 21 players in CSU history have accomplished the feat.
• Bejarano enters Tuesday's game vs. New Mexico with 995 points in a CSU uniform. Including his freshman season at Arizona, he has notched 1,001 points at the Division I level.
• Avila enters Tuesday's game vs. New Mexico with 891 points in two seasons at CSU. Including his freshman and sophomore campaigns at Navy, Avila has tallied 1,582 points at the Division I level.

Bejarano approaching 1,000/600 club
• Senior G Daniel Bejarano, who became just the 14th player in CSU annals with 600-career rebounds (Jan. 31 vs. Fresno State), is also on pace to become the 22nd player in program history to score 1,000 points, currently with 995 points.
• He would become just the seventh player in program history to score 1,000 points and pull down 600 rebounds, and the first since Andy Ogide (2009-11).

Moby Arena win streaks
• Colorado State's loss to Wyoming on Jan. 7, snapped the Rams' 10-game Moby Arena win streak.
• The Rams' 10-game run marked the ninth home win streak of at least 10 games since the team began playing in Moby Arena in January of 1966.
• The longest win streak in program history, a 27-game run, occurred between 2011-12 and 2012-13.
• Entering Tuesday's game vs. New Mexico, the Rams have won four consecutive home games.
