ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Colorado State senior Natalie Heffron has earned All-Mountain West honors, as selected by the league's 11 head coaches, for her performance as the Rams' No. 1 singles player.

"Day in and day out, Natalie has competed against the top players in our conference very well," head coach Jon Messick said. "It is great to see her efforts get recognized."

Heffron, a senior from Atlanta, Ga., won 12 singles matches this year, and helped the Rams earn an upset victory over No. 54 New Mexico, arguably the biggest victory in program history.

The CSU senior battled injuries during the spring campaign, but was able to win four matches.

This is the second all-conference honor for Heffron. In 2012, Heffron, who was competing at the Rams' No. 2 singles position, compiled a 21-10 record while earning all-Mountain West honors.
