STANFORD, Calif. - The Colorado State men's golf team could not make up ground and finished 18th at The Goodwin, March 24-26. Featuring 16 teams ranked in Golfstat's top 100 in NCAA Division I, the three-day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by Stanford University, was played at Stanford Golf Course (Par 70 - 6,727 yards) in Stanford, Calif.

As a team, the Rams got off to a rough start on the front nine, going 8-over among the counting players, but held it together through the back for a 4-over side and a total of 12-over 292 that put them in 18th at 38-over 878. UC Davis led from start to finish, shooting a 2-under 278 on the final 18 to finish at 13-under 827, 10 shots ahead of runner-up No. 33 UNLV at 3-under 837. Host No. 8 Stanford was third at 1-under 839, with Colorado in fourth at 6-over 846. Three CSU players tied for 82nd, as senior Dominic Kieffer, sophomore Max Oelfke and redshirt-freshman Kyler Dunkle all posted 12-over 222 for their 54 holes. Kieffer was the low score of the day for the Rams at 1-over 71, while Dunkle and Oelfke posted 4-over 74 and 6-over 76, respectively.
