2015-16 Women's Basketball Season in Review Video

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State women's basketball team gathered on Tuesday evening in Bod Davis Hall at Moby Arena for its annual end-of-the-year banquet to celebrate the program's record-breaking season in 2015-16.
The evening began with a social hour and dinner before the individual honors and team accomplishments were highlighted for everyone in attendance. Colorado State's junior guard Ellen Nystrom collected her hardware for being the Mountain West Player of the Year as well as being named to the All-Mountain West Team and Mountain West All-Defensive Team for the third-consecutive year. Nystrom also collected her plaque for being named to the Mountain West All-Tournament Team. Senior guards Jamie Patrick and Keyora Wharry were honored at the banquet for joining Nystrom on the Mountain Wests's All-Conference Team, while Head Coach Ryun Williams was celebrated for winning his second Mountain West Coach of the Year honor.
After the awards were handed out, CSU's season-in-review highlight video was played which showcased the Rams' incredible run in 2015-16, and also highlighted the tremendous impact that the team's Scandinavian trip had on them. The video concluded with a touching tribute on the impact that each of the four seniors, Patrick, Wharry, Alana Arias and Emilie Hesseldal, have had on the program and each of the girls on the team.
Once the video ended, each of the four seniors delivered speeches before Williams concluded the night with his closing remarks on each of the four seniors, as well as how special this year's team was to him.
The 2015-16 Rams finished the year 31-2 and won a school-record 28-consecutive games. Throughout the course of the year, CSU set numerous school records, including win percentage, scoring defense, field goal percentage defense and 3-point field goal percentage defense, and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002.
