Mountain West Announces 2016-17 Men's Basketball Television Schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West released Thursday men's basketball television package for the 2016-17 season.
All of Colorado State's home conference games will be available via network broadcasts, with all 18 MW handled by major partners. In total for the year, Colorado State has a combined 23 games selected for broadcast on CBS Sports Network (seven), ROOT Sports (seven), ESPN networks (five) and Mountain West Network on Campus Insiders (two) along with a pair of Pac-12 Network road games.
The selection of games by the Mountain West's television partners shifted five of the Rams' league games to Tuesday nights, including Boise State (ESPN3 on Jan. 31), Utah State (ROOT Sports on Feb. 7), at Wyoming (ROOT Sports on Feb. 14), at New Mexico (CBS Sports Network on Feb. 21) and Wyoming at home (ROOT Sports on Feb. 28). Additionally, the game against UNLV on Dec. 28 is an ESPN Netflex game, where the game time will be either 8 or 9 p.m., depending on if the game is televised on ESPNU or ESPN3.
Joining the conference television games being broadcast are three home non-conference clashes. Broadcasts begin with the season opener against New Mexico State on Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. on ROOT Sports. CSU's battle in the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge against five-time NCAA participant Wichita State will be on Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The Rams' game against Kansas State at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Dec. 17 will also be on CBS Sports Network with a 1 p.m. tip.
Additionally, Rams' key non-conference road matchups at Stanford (Nov. 20) and at Colorado (Nov. 30) will be available via the Pac-12 Network. Television information regarding the non-conference road game at Long Beach State (Dec. 22) has yet to be released.
The remaining home games not chosen by the league's broadcast partners will be available via a free, live-streamed broadcast as part of the Mountain West Network.
