Several Rams earn victories in first home meet of 2017-18

FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University's Swimming & Diving team held their first home meet of the 2017-2018 season, hosting Denver University at Moby Pool. The Pioneers left with an overall victory, with CSU winning five individual swimming events and both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter Diving.
Colorado State freshman Madison Ward edged out her opponents in the 200 breaststroke, finishing first with a 2:20.81 finals time. Her teammates Rowan Hauber and Marie Goodwyn also triumphed, each in multiple events. Hauber commanded the 50 and 100-meter freestyle events, while Goodwyn won the 200 butterfly and the 200 IM.
Freshman Skylar Williams led the Rams to a win in all diving events, scoring highest in the 1-meter diving (237.90) and the 3-meter diving (257.40). The two wins were in her first two diving event of her college career.
