Omogbo Named Eurobasket Player of the Week for Italy Series "A"

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Former Colorado State men's basketball standout Emmanuel Omogbo has been named Eurobasket Player of the Week in Italy Serie A, the organization announced.
The forward had a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds against Vanoli CR, while shooting 55.6 percent (5-of-9) on two-point attempts and 8-of-10 at the free-throw line in 37 minutes of action. He has become one of VL Pesaro's top players in his first professional season, ranking second in the league in rebounding (12.4 rpg) along with 14.6 points, 1.6 assists, 1.4 blocks and 2.2 steals per game. He is shooting 54.1 percent (20-of-37) from the floor and 77.4 percent (24-of-31) from the charity stripe while playing a team-high average of 35.2 minutes in the five contests.
