Oleksak named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State's setter, Katie Oleksak earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors announced by the conference office this morning. It is the second career Conference weekly award for Oleksak.
The sophomore helped the Rams extend its win streak to 14 with conference sweeps over Utah State and Boise State. The win over the Broncos also clinched the Mountain West Championship for the 14th time. Oleksak totaled 83 assists, five kills, two service aces and a .364 attack percentage between the two matches. She averaged 13.83 assists and 1.58 points per set as the Rams offense hit .391 over the two contests. Her 45 assists in the sweep against Utah State was a career-high in a three-set match.
Colorado State will continue Mountain West action on the road the week, with matches at Nevada and San Jose State.
