FORT COLLINS, Colo. -  The Colorado State women's basketball team has added Lauren Brocke to its upcoming class, head coach Ryun Williams announced on Wednesday.

Brocke, who is a 6-foot-3 wing from Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, will be eligible to compete for the Rams in the upcoming 2017-18 season.

"Lauren is a very skilled and versatile talent who comes from a championship high school and club program," Williams said. "She's 6-foot-3 and can impact a game both offensively and defensively in so many ways. Combine that with an extremely competitive and winning mindset and you can see why we are so excited to have Lauren join our program."

Brocke is rated a three-star athlete by ESPN, as well as the No. 19-ranked wing for the class of 2017. Brocke helped Centennial High School to a state runner-up finish and a 21-4 overall record in her junior season. In her senior season, Brocke helped lead her team to its first state title in 11 years.

Brocke's accolades in her senior season include a second-team all-state selection and an All-SIC honor, as well as an invitation to the Idaho Statewide Basketball All-Star Games. Brocke was also All-SIC as a junior.

Brocke is the second athlete to join the Rams' incoming class for 2017-18. Brocke joins another versatile wing, Lena Svanholm (Denmark), who joined the Rams during the early signing period.
