FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State women's basketball team has added transfer Annie Brady to the roster for the upcoming season, head coach Ryun Williams announced on Tuesday.

Brady, a 6-foot-1 post from Salt Lake City, Utah, will have junior eligibility and will be eligible to compete for the Rams in the upcoming 2017-18 season. Brady played her first two collegiate seasons at Salt Lake Community College, which finished the 2016-17 season ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA.

"Annie is a very tough, competitive and athletic talent and we're excited she has decided to join the Ram family," Williams said. "She comes from arguably the best junior college program in the country and knows how to win. I love the fact that she has 60-plus college games under her belt and has played in two NJCAA tournaments. Her experience and versatile abilities will really help our team."

Last season, Brady led all Salt Lake CC starters with a .470 field goal percentage (111-of-236). Brady, who is a .467 (185-of-396) career shooter, also shot .463 (74-of-160) from the floor in her freshman campaign at SLCC. The rising junior averaged 8.5 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game over the 2016-17 season.

Brady elevated her game in the 2017 NJCAA Tournament, averaging 15.8 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game over four games to help Salt Lake CC to the national semifinals. Brady scored in double digits in all four NJCAA Tournament games, including a 23-point (10-of-17), 10-rebound effort against Jones County on March 24.

Brady chose Colorado State over offers from Fresno State, Utah State, Albany and Austin Peay. Brady also competed in volleyball, and received an offer to play middle blocker at the University of Pittsburgh.

Brady is the fourth athlete to join the Rams for the upcoming 2017-18 season. Brady joins guard/forward Lore Devos (Belgium), as well as wings Lena Svanholm (Denmark) and Lauren Brocke (Boise, Idaho).
