Rams' 2017-18 Mountain West schedule announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2017-18 Mountain West schedule for the Colorado State women's basketball team was announced by the conference on Tuesday. The Rams are set to open the league slate against the Boise State Broncos on Thursday, December 28.
The four-time defending Mountain West regular season champions open the 2017-18 conference schedule with another home matchup against the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday, December 30. The Rams begin January with road matchups at the San Diego State Aztecs (Wednesday, January 3) and with the Fresno State Bulldogs (Saturday, January 6).
CSU continues its home schedule on January 10 and January 13 against the Utah State Aggies and the Border War rival Wyoming Cowgirls, respectively. The Rams' remaining January home schedule includes matchups with the Aztecs (Wednesday, January 24) and the New Mexico Lobos (Saturday, January 27). In February, CSU hosts contests against the Air Force Falcons (Wednesday, February 7) and the Bulldogs (Saturday, February 17) before the Rams' final 2017-18 home game against the Nevada Wolf Pack (Saturday, February 24).
Along with its two road games to open 2018, CSU plays three more games on the road in the first month of the new year. The Rams travel to Air Force on January 17, as well as to UNLV on January 20 and to Wyoming on January 31. In February, the Rams play at Nevada (February 3), at San Jose State (February 10), at Boise State (February 21) and at New Mexico (February 27).
See below for a full listing of CSU's schedule. The Rams return six players with starting experience, including seniors Stine Austgulen, Veronika Mirkovic and Hannah Tvrdy. The Rams return eight letterwinners overall along with three redshirt freshmen and four newcomers.
