Rams announce non-conference schedule for 2017-18 season

Rams’ non-conference schedule highlighted by home games against BYU, Colorado, Gonzaga and Oklahoma
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women's basketball team put the finishing touches on its schedule for the 2017-18 season, as the Rams and head coach Ryun Williams announced this season's upcoming non-conference slate.

Colorado State will take the floor at Moby Arena for the first time this upcoming season on Wednesday, Nov. 1, when the Rams host the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. MT. CSU officially opens the season on Friday, Nov. 10 against Idaho at Moby Arena, with tip time to be announced.

Following its home opener against the Vandals, CSU will host four more games at Moby Arena during the month of November, including Gonzaga on Monday, Nov. 13 (6 p.m. MT) and Oklahoma on Tuesday, Nov. 21 (7 p.m. MT). The Rams' other November opponents include Eastern New Mexico (7 p.m. MT on Thursday, Nov. 16) and North Carolina Central (4 p.m. MT on Saturday, Nov. 25).

CSU opens the month of December with its "White Out" game, which is planned for the Rams' matchup with BYU on Saturday, Dec. 2 (3:30 p.m. MT). The Rams will then host in-state rival Colorado in the team's "Orange Out" game at 7 p.m. MT on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The final two games slated to be played at Moby Arena during the non-conference schedule are against Prairie View A&M on Monday, Dec. 18 (7 p.m. MT) and against Morgan State on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. MT.

In addition to the nine home games, CSU is set to play twice on the road during their 2017-18 non-conference slate. The Rams will travel to Denver on Thursday, Nov. 30 and to Northern Colorado on Sunday, Dec. 10 (times TBA for each game).
