The third and final set was the biggest battle of the match, as there was 12 tie scores and three lead changes. The frame was tied at 12-12 before the Rams strung three-straight points together to take a three-point lead – the largest of the set at the time. CSU continued to play great defense and finished the match of with a 25-19 final score.

IN HILBERTS WORDS…
On picking up another conference sweep…
"I felt like we stayed solid with our outside hitting, even though we were out of system almost the whole match. I thought Sanja Cizmic had a great match, except when she was hitting out of the back row. Paulina Hougaard-Jensen and Kirstie Hillyer were good, but Air Force focused on them quite a bit. There were a lot of long rallies in this match and we had to win with those, which brought the kill percentages down. I thought Air Force defended us really well and I was pleased that we hung in there and played good defense ourselves and came out with a win."

On having three players record five blocks…
"We blocked the players that we were prepared to block coming into the match and I think we did a nice job holding Air Force's outside hitters to lower numbers. We got in front of the players that we needed to get in front of and we got a lot of blocks because of that.

On preparing to play Boise State…
"The team is very familiar with Boise State and they know it is going to be a good match. We are going to go into that match very well prepared and will compete at a very high level."
