Hougaard-Jensen named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State middle blocker, Paulina Hougaard-Jensen was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This is the second career conference weekly award for Hougaard-Jensen.
The junior helped the Rams record a pair of sweeps last week against Boise State and Utah State. Hougaard-Jensen totaled 27 kills during the week to lead the Rams offensively, while also hitting at a .556 pace. The junior swung 45 times in the matches and recorded just two errors. The middle blocker also led the Rams defensively with seven blocks, including two solo. She also set new career-highs in the match against Utah State last Saturday, flooring 16 kills and hitting .727.
Colorado State will continue Mountain West action on the road this week, with matches at New Mexico and UNLV.
