Neubert, an Elizabeth, Colo., native, will be immediately eligible for the Rams

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State women's basketball team has signed Tatum Neubert to a financial aid agreement, head coach Ryun Williams announced on Tuesday.

Neubert, a 6-foot-2 forward, will be eligible to compete immediately for Colorado State next season as a redshirt senior. The Elizabeth, Colo., native joins the Rams after stops at LSU (2015-18) and Oregon (2014-15) via Elizabeth High School.

"We are thrilled to be bringing Tatum back home to Colorado State to compete in her final season," Williams said. "Tatum has a very nice versatility to her game both offensively and defensively and plays with a very tough and competitive mindset. She has battled against some of the best competition in the country and this experience will definitely help our basketball team. Tatum is a first-class individual with outstanding character and will be a great Ram."

Neubert was a decorated high school player at Elizabeth, and was a nominee for McDonald's All-America status her senior year. That year, Neubert averaged 22.7 points per game, and was named Colorado 4A First-Team All-State. Among her other accolades were a trio of conference player of the year selections and three first-team all-conference honors.

In addition to her standout senior campaign, Neubert averaged 15.0 points and 7.2 rebounds as a high school junior as well as 10.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in her sophomore high school season. Neubert began her collegiate career at Oregon, appearing in 23 games for the Ducks and starting in three in her freshman season. Following a redshirt season in 2015-16, Neubert went on to play in 39 games in two seasons with the Lady Tigers.
