FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State's men's basketball programs will play 17 regular-season games at Moby Arena, as head coach Niko Medved announced the non-conference portion of the schedule today. The Rams will face four teams that competed in the NCAA Tournament last year, with four of the five contests at home.

Colorado State will open the regular season at home, taking on Colorado Christian on Wed., Nov. 7. Two more home games do the early schedule as Arkansas Pine Bluff (Nov. 10) and Montana State (Nov. 14) come to Moby Arena. The Rams will then play three games away from home, traveling to the Gulf Coast Showcase in Fort Myers, Fla., Nov. 19-21, completing the tournament that began with the Colorado Christian contest.

The annual Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge game for CSU occurs on Nov. 27, as the Rams host Southern Illinois. The renewal of the Rocky Mountain Showdown will take place on Sat., Dec. 1 in Boulder as the Rams and Buffaloes meet, with CSU having taken the last two meetings. CSU then returns home to host 2018 NCAA Tournament team Arkansas Dec. 5 in the completion of the home-and-home series.

CSU will then bookend Finals Week with two home games, hosting Sam Houston State on Dec. 8 and South Dakota on Dec. 16 at Moby Arena. Both the Bearkats and Coyotes made postseason appearances last year, playing in the CIT and CBI, respectively. The Rams will play their final non-conference road contest on Dec. 22, traveling to California to take on Long Beach State before concluding the early slate and the 2018 year by hosting defending Western Athletic Conference champion New Mexico State Dec. 30.

The annual MW Men's Basketball Championship will open on March 13 with three games at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., with the title game for the league's automatic NCAA Tournament berth played on Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m. PT on CBS.

This schedule is subject to change based on the selection of games by the Mountain West national television partners. CBS Sports Network and ESPN will initiate a selection procedure which will include the shifting of select Wednesday games to Tuesday and Saturday games to Sunday. The national television selections are expected to be completed in the next several weeks. Regional partner AT&T SportsNet/ROOT Sports – Northwest Region and Mountain West Network on STADIUM will begin their picks after the national television lineup has been announced.

The remaining individual MW institutions will complete release of their non-conference schedules in the coming weeks. Game times will be set once all broadcast networks finalize their selections.
