FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Sophomore Rachel Holland led the Colorado State diving team on Wednesday night, finishing both the 1- and 3-meter dives as the leader for the Rams in their final home competition of the season Holland posted a 261.90 in the 3-meter dive – just shy of qualifying for the NCAA Zone Meet. The CSU swimming team will finish the dual against the Bears on Friday night starting at 5 p.m., at Moby Pool.

Diving Coach Luke Richmond on tonight's performance…
"Tonight we had some really solid performances. Rachel Holland, who had a lot of growth this year, had another personal-best score, this time on the 1-meter. Last week she had a personal best in the 3-meter, so she is continuing to grow. She was just a couple points shy of qualifying for the NCAA Zone Meet tonight in the 1-meter. Skylar Williams had a strong performance coming back after being sick the week prior. She introduced some new dives to her list and she is looking strong. Both she and Rachel (Holland) are our designated conference competitors and they are looking strong going into the weekend at Air Force and on to the MW Championships. We had another real standout performance with some personal bests by Halley Buhlig on the 1-meter and Katie Leonard on both the 1- and 3-meter. It is really nice to see the growth in the girls, from where they came in, to where they are now. All a coach could really hope for is to see the girls go from a point A to a very strong point B."
