No. 14 Rams Finish Week Still Perfect

Colorado State has won 16-consecutive matches and remains perfect in the Mountain West with a sweep over Utah State Saturday afternoon.
LOGAN, UTAH – No. 14 Colorado State finished the week with a dominating sweep at Utah State on Saturday, extending its winning streak to 16-consecutive matches and staying a top the Mountain West with an 8-0 mark.
MATCH NOTES
- The Rams hit .421 in the first set, including tallying 10 blocks and three service aces
- Paulina Hougaard-Jensen recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 kills and a team-high 11 blocks, including six in the first frame
- Breana Runnels floored a team-high 11 kills while hitting .429
- Kirstie Hillyer added six kills and hit .667 and put up three blocks
- Alexa Roumeliotis reached double-figure digs with 11
- Katie Oleksak split time with Ciera Zimmerman as the pair dished out 35 assists, 17 and 16, respectfully
- Oleksak also recorded five blocks, while Runnels added four
- CSU finished hitting .397 in the match and held Utah State to a .065 mark
- The Rams dropped in 12 service aces, led by Runnels with four.
- CSU recorded 15 blocks in the sweep, which ties for fourth in modern scoring records
