No. 16 Rams Extend Winning Streaks with Win at Air Force

Colorado State won its 13th consecutive match of the season and 51st against Air Force
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The No. 16 Colorado State volleyball team kept its winning streaks alive with a 3-1 win over Air Force on Saturday afternoon. The Rams improve their season winning streak to 13-straight and have defeated Air Force for the 51st-consecutive time.
MATCH NOTES
- Sasha Colombo recorded five service aces – in the third set alone – to tie the modern scoring record in a four-set match
- CSU finished the match with 12 aces, the most in a four-set match in modern-scoring history
- Kirstie Hillyer recorded her 500th career block after recording four in the win – to be fifth player in CSU history to reach that mark
- Paulina Hougaard-Jensen controlled the net with eight blocks and added 10 kills
- Breana Runnels paced the team with 14 kills and contributed five digs and two blocks
- Kirstie Hillyer floored 13 kills while hitting .276
- Katie Oleksak dished out 40 assists and tallied 10 digs for her fourth double-double of the season, while also adding seven blocks
- The Rams finished with 12 blocks, including recording six in the third set
- Air Force was held to a .056 hitting percentage
