Hillyer Named Defensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior, Kirstie Hillyer earned Colorado State's seventh Mountain West Volleyball Peak Players of the Week award of the season. The middle blocker was named Defensive Player of the Week and earned her second weekly award of the season. The award also gives her the seventh of her career, which is the most by a volleyball player in Colorado State history.
- Recorded 13 blocks in a sweep of Utah State and Boise State, averaging 2.17 blocks per set.
- Posted four blocks against the Aggies and nine blocks against the Broncos.
- Cornerstone of a defense that held Utah State to .054 and Boise State to -.073 hitting percentage.
Colorado State will be on the road this week at San Jose State and Nevada.
