Colorado State kept Fresno State to a .032 hitting mark in its 16th sweep of the season
FRESNO, Calif. – No. 13 Colorado State kept its winning streak and perfect conference record intact with a sweep over Fresno State on Thursday night. The Rams recorded seven blocks and kept the Bulldogs to a .032 hitting mark in the victory, while also dropping in nine service aces.
MATCH NOTES
- The Rams won their 13th Mountain West match and their 22nd consecutive
- CSU finished hitting .275 in the sweep, while keeping Fresno State to a .032 mark – the 12th time the Rams' defense kept an opponent under .100.
- Jessica Jackson led the Rams with 12 kills and hitting .409
- Breana Runnels reached double-figure kills for the 19th time this season with 10
- Kirstie Hillyer recorded four blocks to lead CSU, while Olivia Nicholson and Sasha Colombo added three each
- Katie Oleksak dished out 29 assists and added eight digs and a pair of blocks
- Olivia Nicholson led the back row with nine digs and Alexa Roumeliotis tallied eight
