Currently ranked 10th in open in her country

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State women's tennis coach Jarod Camerota has added the first piece to his recruiting class, heading across the globe to find her.

Sarah Weekley, from Auckland, New Zealand, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Rams, starting in the 2020-21 season. She was ranked second in the country at 18U, and now sits 10th in the open division.

The 6-foot-1 Weekley has had had a long run of success at home, winning the 12U National doubles title, was the 16U national singles runner-up and the 18U national doubles runner-up. She will bring international experience, calling a tournament in Bordeaux, France as her favorite stop.

Why She Chose CSU – "A New Zealand tennis player transferred to CSU and loved it. I also find the place very attractive."

Coach Camerota – "Sarah is a very good player who will fit in well with our team and university. We are excited to have another New Zealander and can't wait for her to be on campus."
