FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Outstanding performances at Sunday's Doug Max Invitational have earned two Rams recognition from the Mountain West this week.

Senior sprinter Marybeth Sant has been tabbed as the women's outdoor track athlete of the week by the MW and redshirt-freshman thrower Adam Dawson has earned men's outdoor field athlete of the week recognition.

This week's honors give the Rams four MW track and field weekly awards in the four weeks since the outdoor season began in late March.

Marybeth Sant – MW Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Sant won the 100 meters in a personal-best 11.56 to log the third-fastest time in that event in Colorado State history. Sant's altitude adjusted time of 11.59 ranks fourth in the MW this season.
She also ran the first leg of Colorado State's 4x100 relay that took down the outdoor school record for the second week in a row Sunday, clocking a time of 44.06 to top the previous mark by six-tenths of a second.

It is the first MW weekly award this outdoor season for the Parker, Colo., native from Valor Christian High School.

Adam Dawson – MW Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Dawson won the men's discus competition at the Doug Max Invitational with a personal-best mark of 183-6 (55.93m).
That mark ranks 11^th on CSU's all-time outdoor list, No. 1 in the MW this year and 28^th in the NCAA this year.
This marks the second outdoor weekly conference honor of Dawson's career, and second in the last three weeks. The Parker, Colo., native from Lutheran High School also earned an indoor weekly honor earlier this year.

The Rams are on the road at several meets in Southern California this week, beginning with the Bryan Clay Multis at Azusa Pacific on Wednesday.
