Women’s team, six individuals earn academic honors from USTFCCCA

Hume earns individual honor for men

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State's women's team, as well as six individuals, earned All-Academic recognition from the United State Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association this week..
 
The Rams' women's team earned their honor with a cumulative GPA of 3.18 for the season. Kelcey Bedard, Linnea Jonsson, Ali Kallner, Bailey Ness and Tarynn Sieg earned individual honors for their work in the classroom, as did Carson Hume from the men's team. Bedard, Jonsson, Ness and Hume are all seniors; Kallner is a junior, Sieg a sophomore.
 
Teams and individuals must carry at least a 3.0 GPA for consideration and be at least a qualifier at the NCAA Preliminaries. Bedard and Sieg both earned All-American recognition by qualifying for the NCAA Championships.
