With the road victory at the home of the NBA G-League's Santa Cruz Warriors, the Rams improved to 3-1 while handing the Broncos their first loss of the year and dropping them to 6-1.
Â
CSU didn't find the rhythm offensively early, spotting the hosts an early 10-2 run in the first 4:31 of the game. However, the Rams kept the defensive intensity high, forcing 11 turnovers and allowing just 15 points the rest of the half to grab a 31-25 halftime lead. The Rams used solid defense in the second half to build the lead to as many as 11 as the visitors led the final 25 minutes of the contest.
