Rams Improve Numbers for 2019 Fall Academic All-Mountain West

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State saw a bump in athletes earning Academic All-Mountain accolades for the fall semester from the year before as the conference announced the 670 student-athletes which earned the distinction.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic term at CSU while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better. In addition, that student-athlete must also be a starter or significant contributor to his or her team.

A total of 54 Rams representing each of the five 2019 fall sports teams were among those honored, beating the total of 46 from the season before. Within that total, 22 of the student-athletes hold GPAs of 3.50 or better, and two – soccer player Aleyse Evers and volleyball player Sasha Colombo – carry perfect 4.0s.
