Ott, Bryant Share Mountain West Golfer of the Week Honors

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State senior AJ Ott and sophomore Davis Bryant have been named Mountain West Co-Golfers of the Week, along with San Diego State's Puwit Anupansuebsai, the league announced today. This is the first weekly award for both players in their career and the final MW award of the 2019-20 season.
The trio tied for fifth at the 2020 Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic earlier this week, all shooting a 3-under par 213. Ott and Bryant combined to help CSU maintain its top-20 ranking according to Golfstat and No. 14 from Golfweek with the Rams' seventh-place finish in an event that featured 17 of 19 teams ranked in Golfstat's top 100.
Bryant recorded a par or better in all three rounds, leading CSU in the opening round with a 1-under 71. He registered his third top-5 finish of the season and led the Rams in scoring at 70.67 (-0.50) strokes per round this year with 13 of 18 rounds at par or better with four in the 60s.
Ott had a team tournament-best 2-under 70 in both the second and third rounds, with all three rounds counting towards the team score. He finished the year averaging 70.76 strokes per round (-0.41) with 11 rounds of par or better, including four in the 60s, on the year with a pair of top-5 and three top-10 finishes.
