The duo both earn honorable mention, making the fourth and fifth Rams ever to earn All-America honors.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State men's golf was recognized for its outstanding shortened season as sophomore Davis Bryant and senior AJ Ott were named to the Golf Coaches Association of America Division I PING All-Americans, the organization announced. This marks the first time since 2003-04 that CSU, ranked 19th in the final Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, has had an All-American, as Martin Laird and Nolan Martin were both third-team selections that year. They are also the fourth and fifth All-Americans in program history.
"What an incredible achievement for AJ and Davis," head coach Christian Newton. "To have two All-Americans in a single year is a great achievement for the program. These two guys epitomize Stalwart Rams. I appreciate how they go about the process every day."
This year, the Rams won three tournaments in a season for just the fifth time in program history, despite playing in just six events due to the world health crisis. Season bios for both honorees are listed below.
