Norvell Announces First Additions to 2022 Coaching Staff

Six assistant coaches were officially added to the staff.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Six assistant coaches were officially added to the football coaching staff on Thursday, head coach Jay Norvell and the program announced.

All six previously worked with Norvell on his 2021 coaching staff at Nevada, and four of the six additions come on the offensive side of the football.

Matt Mumme – Associate Head Coach/Quarterbacks
Bill Best – Offensive Line
Chad Savage – Recruiting Coordinator/Tight Ends
Timmy Chang - Wide Receivers
Thomas Sheffield – Special Teams Coordinator
Jordon Simmons – Assistant Head Coach/Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach

Additional members of the coaching staff, including the final offensive assistant, defensive staff, and support staff, will be announced at a later date.
