THIS WEEK: The Colorado State women's golf team will begin the 2021 spring season at The Valley Invitational in Bakersfield, Calif., hosted by CSU Bakersfield and Cal Poly. The Rams will play 54 holds over two days at the Bakersfield Country Club, Feb. 8-9. The course plays at 6,029 yards and a par 72.

"We are excited to get back to competitive golf after nearly a year pause due to Covid-19," said head coach Laura Cilek. "Our student-athletes have done an amazing job of following protocol, working on their games to the best of their ability with ever changing circumstances and I am so proud of them. We cannot wait to get out and compete!"

The tournament is a two-day event, starting on Monday with a shotgun start and two rounds of continuous play. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
