To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – For their hard work in the classroom, 39 Colorado State football student-athletes were honored on Friday by the Mountain West as a part of the 2020 Fall Academic All-Mountain West Team.

To be eligible for 2020 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The athletic contribution/participation requirement has been omitted for this award this year due to the impact of COVID-19.

"This recognition for these student athletes is a testament to their commitment to academic excellence," said Dr. Albert Bimper, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs/Student-Athlete Support Services. "Despite the past several months proving to be challenging on a number of fronts, we are extremely proud of the perseverance and pride our student-athletes have shown in keeping their focus on academic excellence."

In addition to being named Academic All-Mountain West, 18 Rams also added Academic All-Colorado honors from the National Football Foundation.
