CSU Announces 2021-22 Mountain West Schedule

Rams to host nine home games during league play, ending with Boise State for Senior Day
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State men's basketball team will open its 2021-22 Mountain West schedule at New Mexico in The Pit on Dec. 28, the league announced today. The slate returns to the more traditional Tuesday-Saturday setup for the season with nine home and nine road games to determine the regular season champion.

CSU will open the home portion of the schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 4 when the Rams take on in state-rival Air Force on Jan. 4. The regular-season finale will be in Moby Arena on Saturday, March 5, when CSU hosts Boise State for Senior Day. With the unbalanced schedule, Colorado State will only play San Jose State (Jan. 15, road) and Fresno state (Feb. 12, home) once during the regular season.

The annual Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship will open on March 9 with three games at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., with the title game for the league's automatic NCAA Tournament berth played on Saturday, March 12.

This schedule is subject to change based on the selection of games by the Mountain West national television partners. CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now initiate a selection procedure, which will include the shifting of several games from their current Saturday and Tuesday dates. Additional announcements on television selections and tip times will be made in the coming weeks.

The remainder of the Rams' schedule will be announced in the coming days, now that the Mountain West schedule has been finalized.
