FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Leading the Colorado State volleyball team to a 2-0 weekend on the road in the Mountain West play, junior outside hitter Kennedy Stanford was recognized as the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for her performances during week eight of the season. This is the second award win for Stanford this season.
Â
The Rams continued conference play last week on the road against Fresno State and San Diego State, winning both matches to move to 14-5 on the season and 7-1 in the Mountain West. Stanford was a huge part of the five-set, 3-2 victory over the Bulldogs as well as the 3-0 sweep over the Aztecs Saturday afternoon, earning her Colorado State's second weekly award of the season.

Â
Putting up another strong game against the Aztecs, Stanford's offensive production also came from the service line in this match up. She finished with two service aces on the Aztecs as well as eight kills, eight digs and a blocking assist.
