CSU Athletics and Republic Services Partner to Tackle Hunger for Border War

The food drive will benefit the Food Bank for Larimer County.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. –  Colorado State Athletics and Republic Services will collaborate once again to host an on-campus food drive during tailgating for the Border War football game this weekend. Kick off is set for 5 p.m. and tailgating begins at 1 p.m.

Stop by Republic Services' booth, near the Ram Walk, and place your non-perishable items in one of the Republic's blue carts. All collected food will be donated to the Food Bank for Larimer County. Republic Services will also be onsite with a Touch-a-Truck, the opportunity to meet a recycle driver and provide fun swag for the whole family.

Please help us tackle hunger in our community. In addition, for every sack CSU makes against the Wyoming Cowboys, Republic Services will donate $100 to the Food Bank for Larimer County. This is a season-long initiative.

Last year, thanks to Ram fans and the local community, more than 14,000 meals were served and $6,200 raised as a result of Republic Services' sponsorship and partnership with CSU Athletics and Learfield for the Inaugural Rams Against Hunger campaign!
