Colorado State signs Avree Antony to the 2023 class on National Signing Day

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State head coach Ryun Williams announced the addition of Avree Antony to continue her career at CSU following high school graduation.

"The Rams are extremely excited to add Avree Antony to our women's basketball program," said Williams. "Avree is a competitive, tough-minded young lady who has a very talented skillset. Her ability to get to the basket and to score at all three levels is going to be exciting to coach."

Antony is a 5-foot-10 guard from Sun Prairie, Wis., who averaged 12.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a junior. She earned first-team All-Big 8 Conference honors following the season, while adding an honorable mention All-State nod from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association and the Wisconsin State Journal's All-Area team. She capped her junior season of prep being named an AP all-state honorable mention.

"Avree comes from a great family," added Williams. "She is a young lady of high character and will fit in nicely with our team and culture."

Colorado State tipped off its 2022-23 season on Tuesday with an 82-62 victory against BYU. The Ram will continue action this week playing Montana on Friday evening in Moby Arena. Tip is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., followed by the men's basketball game against Southeastern Louisiana at 7:30 p.m.
