7/5/2022 6:00:00 PM | Football, Ram Club
The Women’s Football Clinic returns for the first time since 2019.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Mark your calendars, Ram fans, as Saturday, Aug. 13 is set to be a full day of celebrating the Rams for fans of all ages!
Beginning at Noon inside Canvas Stadium, fans will have the chance to meet and greet head football coach Jay Norvell and the 2022 team as well as members of the volleyball, soccer, and women's basketball programs during the 2022 Rams Fan Fest. All fans are welcome and admission and parking are free. Concession stands will also be open for limited food and drink options.
That morning, the Rams are schedule to participate in their eighth practice of the 2022 Fall Camp calendar, and practice will be open to all fans beginning at 9 a.m. inside Canvas Stadium. Video and photos will not be allowed.
Field access to Sonny Lubick Field will also be available for photographs. Food and beverages on the field will be restricted to water only. And, while we love your furry friends, pets will not be allowed.
That evening at 4 p.m., Kim Norvell will host her first Women's Football Clinic with all proceeds benefiting two great causes: RamStrength, which supports local cancer survivors by providing financial assistance for basic needs, scholarships, programs and services, and nutritional needs for football student-athletes.
The event returns to Colorado State for the first time since 2019 and will be a fun-filled, unique opportunity for all attendees to meet and mingle with student-athletes and staff of the program. Additionally, attendees are given the opportunity to grow their knowledge of the game through chalk talks led by the coaching staff and on-field drills coached by the student-athletes.
Registration cost is $75 per person and will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, two drink tickets, as well as silent and live auctions.
Support is also provided by UCHealth and Canvas Credit Union.
As an extension of the Women's Football Clinic, the Rams, in partnership with UCHealth, will celebrate local Cancer Warriors on Saturday, October 22, when Hawai'i visits Canvas Stadium.
