#NextLevelRams: Stonehouse Makes Booming Debut

Six players active on Week 1
The first week of the NFL season has six #NextLevelRams active on opening rosters, with an additional two on injured reserve and two on practice squads for their respective teams.

Rookie punter Ryan Stonehouse had an amazing start to his career, putting up 342 yards on six punts for Tennessee. He beat out 13-year veteran Brett Kern for the starting job. His longest punt of the game was 66 yards and averaged 57.0 yards, the highest punting average in the NFL.

Shaquil Barrett – Barrett had two tackles, including one tackle for loss, on Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Cowboys 19-3 in Dallas.

Michael Gallup – Gallup, continuing to recover from the ACL tear he suffered last season, did not play in the season opener for the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19-3.

Rashard Higgins – The wide receiver did not play for the Carolina Panthers as they battled against his former team, the Browns. The Panthers lost 26-24 to Cleveland.

Olabisi Johnson – Johnson is on injured reserve for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings beat the Packers 23-7.

Manny Jones – The defensive lineman is on the practice squad for the Cardinals, joining fellow rookie and teammate Trey McBride in Arizona. The Cardinals were defeated by the Chiefs, 44-21.

Trey McBride – Cardinals' Rookie Trey McBride was listed as inactive for the first game of the season. Arizona lost 44-21 to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Adam Prentice – The Saints' fullback played seven snaps in the season opener against the Falcons. New Orleans beat the Falcons 27-26 in Atlanta.
