Men’s basketball takes on UNLV Saturday evening
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State men's basketball is headed to Vegas for the weekend, but it's a business trip. The Rams take on UNLV on Saturday at 5 pm MT on CBS Sports Network.
Opening Tip
- Colorado State fell in overtime to in-state foe Air Force 85-74 on Tuesday night.

UNLV is coming off an 84-66 home loss to Boise State earlier this week. The Rebels started the season 10-0 but have struggled recently dropping four of their last six including a 1-3 mark in Mountain West play.
Forcing opponents into turnovers and getting into the open court is a key to UNLV's success. They have the best turnover margin (+7.4), force the second most turnovers per game (20.06) and average the sixth most steals per contest (10.2) in the nation.
The trio of EJ Harkless, Luis Rodriguez and Keshon Gilbert have combined for 94 steals this season and all three are averaging double figures in scoring. Harkless leads the way with 16.3 ppg while Rodriguez adds in 12.8 and Gilbert 12.7.
