Tran Announces First Signee for 2023

Voeks to join program as a freshman in the fall
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State tennis coach Mai-Ly Tran announced the first piece to her 2023 signing class on Wednesday, Logan Voeks out of Charleston, S.C.

Voeks, who attends Wando High School, is ranked a four-star recruit by Tennis Recruiting Network and she is the fourth-best recruit out of South Carolina, 29th in the Southeast and 123rd nationally. She comes to the Rams with a wealth of national tournament experience, placing first in the L2 Midlothian, Va., event in May, as well as winning the L3 Southerns title in Mobile, Ala., in June. She owns a victory over a blue-chip prospect and two over five-star recruits and earned a UTR peak of 9.21.

"Logan has that tenacious and competitive demeanor that we look for at CSU," head coach Mai-Ly Tran said. "Her maturity, character and continuous drive to be successful both on and off the court are just some of our core values, making her a great addition to the Ramily. Â We are thrilled to have Logan join us for the 23-24 season!"

Colorado State begins the spring season Jan. 28 with a pair of duals in Denver, facing Denver and Metro State at the Denver Tennis Park. The Rams will play the Pioneers at 1:30 p.m., facing the Roadrunners at 5 p.m.
